With the order ahead functionality for mobile ordering, guests can request an order for pickup in a future date and time. In the event that an order cannot be fulfilled in the date/time that the guest requested, the Order Details screen allows you to adjust the pickup date and/or time (depending on order ahead configuration). To change the pickup time on an order:
- In the Orders screen, select the order to be adjusted
- Click the Pencil icon located next to the order pickup date/time in the order details screen
- An Edit Pick Up Time? window will appear. The following adjustments can be made:
- Pick Up Date
- Allows for selecting the new date the order will be available for pickup
- Pick Up Time
- Allows for selecting the new time the order will be available for pickup
- Guest Message*
- Allows for setting the message that will be sent to the guest advising them of the updated order date/time
- Pick Up Date
- Click Save Changes
* Guest Message is only available for locations subscribed to our SMS Notifications feature. Guest Message entered will be sent to the customer via SMS advising them of the updated order pickup time.
