Sending live transactions' receipts to a new email address:
Receipts can be automatically sent to the default (preferred) email address registered on Apple Pay and Google Pay, and a notification will be displayed on the payment confirmation screen when it occurs.
If you click on , the payment confirmation screen will display an option for the users to input their email address and click on Send to send the email with the receipt.
For manual card entry (when not using Apple Pay or Google Pay), the payment confirmation screen will display the option above for users to input their email address and click on Send to send the email with the receipt.
If you use Apple Pay:
To prevent Apple Pay from sending receipts to an email address you have configured in your Apple Wallet, you can change the email configuration on Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Email on your iPhone. It is also possible to select a default (preferred) email address in Wallet & Apple Pay settings.
- Wallet & Apple Pay email configuration with the default email being @gmail.
- Payment process in Ready using Apple Pay. When clicking the @gmail (default) address, Apple Pay opens a new screen where it is possible to change the email address for the receipt.
- The next screen displays @gmail as the selected email address as expected. The user can select another email address or add a new email address.
- Selected the @hotmail address and clicked on Done.
- The selected email address (@hotmail) is displayed on the Apple Pay modal.
- Ready automatically sends an email with the receipt to @hotmail.
If you use Google Pay:
We recommend checking on Google Pay Help how to perform email address changes for Google Pay. The following article can be useful for users from US: Manage your Google Pay settings.
