# Menus: Editing a Section
Editing an existing section allows you to change the base configuration information of your section (such as Section Name, Set Schedule, and Section Status), quickly toggle a sections status, quickly toggle an item/item group(s) visibility status, as well as fully edit the items and item groups in the section.
If you are looking to quickly change the sections status from Enabled to Disabled, or vice versa:
1. Click the ellipses button (three dots) for the section to be enabled or disabled
2. Click the **Enable Section** or **Disable Section** (depending on current section status)
If you are looking to quickly toggle an item/item group as visible or hidden to guests:
1. Click the down arrow icon for the section
2. For each item / item group, there will either be an eye icon () or an eye icon with a cross through it () to indicate the item's current visibility status to guests
3. Click the eye icon to toggle the item / item group between visible and hidden
If you are looking to edit the contents of your section:
1. Click the **Edit** button for the section you wish to edit
This will reveal the edit view for a section, which will allow you to:
- Change the **Section Name**
- Set/Change the **Description** for the section
- Add/adjust/remove the section's set schedule(s)
- Change the **Display Name** (the item name which shows to guests) for a given item in the section
- Re-order items in the section via clicking-and-dragging items via the grabber () icon
- Toggle an item/item group as visible or hidden via the eye icons (visible:  | hidden: )
- Remove items from the section via the X icon ()
- Add items to an item group via the **+ Add item to Group** button
- Add items to the section via the **+ Add Items** button (refer to **[Menus: Adding Items and Item Groups to a Section](https://help-center.readytopay.com/menus-adding-items-and-item-groups-to-a-section?hsLang=en)** for more information)
- Add item groups to the section via the **+ Add Group** button (refer to **[Menus: Adding Items and Item Groups to a Section](https://help-center.readytopay.com/menus-adding-items-and-item-groups-to-a-section?hsLang=en)** for more information)
To save changes to the section, click the **Save Changes** button. Otherwise, click the **Cancel** button to undo changes made.
