# Order Settings (Orders screen)
The Orders screen has the ability to set various order-related settings for the location. Order settings are separated into two areas. **Ordering Toggles** provides a quick way to turn on or off ordering for the location. The **Order Settings** gear icon contains additional ordering settings for the location.
### Order Settings
The Order Settings screen allows for the configuration of additional order settings for the location. This screen can be accessed by clicking the gear icon () on the orders screen.
The Order Settings window allows for the configuration of the following order settings:
- **Order Throttling**
- Enables or disables the order throttling function to limit the number of orders that can be submitted within a certain time period to help ensure that the kitchen can fulfill orders that are incoming.
- **Max # of Orders per Minute**
- Determines (when Order Throttling is on) how many orders can be submitted for a certain time period.
- The first input field allows for entering a number of orders.
- The second input field allows for selecting a time period between 5 to 30 minutes in 5-minute intervals.
- **Ordering Offline Message**
- This is the message that will be displayed to guests when ordering is offline.
- **Alcohol Policy**
- This is the message that will be displayed to guests that add items containing alcohol to their order.
- **Max # of Drinks per Order**
- This controls the number of drinks a guest can add to a single order.
