Creating Checks for a New Table

Seeing Current Checks and Open Tables

These flows apply when a check already exists on a Table. Tables with existing checks (Open Tables) will be shown in White on the main table screen.

Managing Open Tables

To manage an open table, select the table you want to work with.

You will be brought to the Table view. From here you will be able to see any open checks.

Creating and Managing Checks

Creating a New Check

To create a new check for an open table, Select New Check from the Table View. Alternatively, you can just begin adding items from the menu and it will automatically start adding items to a new check.

Use the menu to navigate to the item your guest would like to order. Select that item and it will be added to the check.

Once you've added all items your guest would like to order, tap Send to Kitchen. This will submit the order to your POS and use your POS configuration to route to your KDS or printer depending on your POS settings.

To cancel a new check and remove all items. Select the Trash Can icon to the right of New Check.

Adding to an Existing Check

To add to an existing Check, select that check from the list of open checks on the Table View.

Use the menu to navigate to the item your guest would like to order. Select that item and it will be added to the check. Because the check now has pending items and items that have already been sent to the kitchen, you will see a toggle splitting items into two views.

Once you've added all items your guest would like to order, tap Send to Kitchen. This will submit the order to your POS and use your POS configuration to route to your KDS or printer depending on your POS settings.

Modifying and Removing Items.

Items can only be removed from a check in ServerFlow before they are sent to your POS. If you need to edit or remove an item that has already been fired, you will need to do so directly in your POS.

Navigate to either pending items on an existing check or an open check and swipe left on the item you wish to modify. To remove the item, select the Red Trashcan. To edit an item, select the Yellow Pencil.

Modifying an item allows for different modifiers or add ons to be adjusted prior to submitting to the POS.
